Recipe Development

After stints working at a New York Times three-star restaurant and as a personal chef, I merged my writing background and culinary talents into recipe development. My recipe for Double-Decker Chorizo Tostadas was featured on the cover of Chile Pepper magazine and my Serious Eats’ recipe for Sriracha Wings landed me on Martha Stewart Living Radio. I’ve also done recipe development for the California Asparagus Commission, Kiwi Magazine’s cookbook, Allergy-Friendly Food for Families, Better Homes and Gardens’ bookazines and corporate clients, including  food product development. All this is in addition to my own cookbooks, The I Love Trader Joe’s College Cookbook and The Artisan Soda Workshop. Southern-raised, I now reside in Queens, NYC, where I’m spoiled with almost every type of ethnic food available.
